Masking for Electroplating & Chrome Plating

Electroplating and chrome plating deposit thin metallic layers onto parts by immersing them in chemical baths containing sulfuric acid, chromic acid, nickel sulfate, or other aggressive electrolytes. Masking must protect threads, bearing surfaces, grounding contacts, and design boundaries from deposition — and withstand prolonged immersion without lifting, swelling, or allowing plating solution to seep underneath.
